2008 Honda XR 650L - Under 500 km

Honda XR 650L Motorcycle. This bike was purchased back in 2008, then put away and not used.

We had our expert "English Chris' go through this one before we started her up. Fuel tank drained, fuel lines flushed, carburettor removed, cleaned and serviced, with Honda parts, Spark plug, carburettor valve and a new battery. A great example of New Old Stock. We have put about 50km on it, and realised we are a little too fat and old to go trail riding, although there's plenty of punch for the road.

This Honda XR 650L is a delight to ride. Back to the old school. It is virtually unchanged in design since 1992, making it one of the world's longest running unchanged vehicles, so it must me decent. It has an air cooled single cylinder 650cc dry sump engine, and it weighs 349 pounds fueled up with fluids. Gas tank is 2.8 gallons with a 0.6 gallon reserve.
